Hey all,

First post on this forum. Picked this thing up for $200 and I knew there was issues with it and thats why I got it so cheap. This is the first blaster/2 stroke I have ever messed with and I am finding that this is going to be much more of a challenge than I had anticipated. I have heard about blasters my whole life and figured there would be lots of parts available. I am finding that this is not as true as I had hoped lol. So lets start with I was just going to tear it down and clean it up cause it was a god awful mess and then the OCD kicked in and as I took things apart I found things that I was not comfortable with. The brakes for one are awful so I have sourced yfz450 spindles and hubs, warrior calipers and Z400 master for the front brakes. Problem I am at with this is the a arms. Only place that makes aftermarket a arms for this thing is ASR and they are big $$$ and I am just trying to build a little budget trail quad for my sons best friend to ride when he is with us. Anybody have any luck modifying the oem arms for a budget solution? I purchased a complete brake setup from a warrior for the back end of of this thing. I have been informed that there is very little fabrication needed to make this work. Any and all advice on ways to make this quad more dependable and safe would be greatly appreciated. I have been searching and reading through the site forums most of the night and am making notes. Thanks for any help you guys can give me. It will be greatly appreciated!!
