i just bought a 2002 blaster and I want to upgrade to full fmf exhaust. I looked up the jetting required and was wondering if I up the jets will the auto lube system keep up with the new amount of fuel going into the carb. Thanks!

Hello, YES! The auto lube will work just fine. I run the auto lube with porting, and high compression re-chambered head, and DMC Alien pipe. I have been running it for years. Zero issues. I had to go up 12 sizes in main jet size if I remember correctly.

Block it off an mix fuel 32:1
I would never trust an oil pump on anything 2 stroke, thats just me tho

Most folks would agree with you. However, its been flawless on my wife's blaster which is still stock and completely un-modified.
I'm still running it after all these years on my personal modified blaster, which consists of ported stock cylinder, re-chambered high compression head with squish distance properly set, V-force 3 reeds, and DMC alien pipe. Its properly jetted and is off the chain with reliability and power.
My buddy wants to swap to oil injection that we removed years ago. Probably this weekend
The Banshee of course will still be pre-mix, unless I can find a way to oil inject it to like the RD 350. maybe a project for later.

Yes except the big jug of oil hanging off your bike lol it looks absolutely ridiculous. And I would never and have never used one so I'm not too sure how well they work, but I guess if your just putting around then who cares right. Just seems like one more possible issue. To each his own

No problem. I've switched between oil injection and pre-mix multiple times over the years during experimentation.
Never a issue with auto lube. Stock to modified. If its the looks of the oil tank, I get it, but that doesn't take away anything when it comes to the reliability of the system. Its dead nuts solid. I do wish the oil tank was hidden under the seat though. Just for putting around huh? Yeah right. I ride it hard every chance I get, and have for years. Like I said before, its a solid system. To each his own.

Honestly I would never risk it I have heard of others having problems with it and no it's not just just the looks it the fact they add so much for something that's so simple they could literally train apes to do it lol

I just finished swapping the oil injection system back onto my partner's Blaster! He has the same porting, re-chambered head, FMF pipe, blah, blah, blah as mine. Going on 8 years of hard riding, and still works flawlessly with the modifications. Don't be afraid.
