Rear Brakes

im looking for the rear break set up everyone’s talking about on here can u get ahold of me when u get on here plz

Sorry bud, I haven't made any brake setups in a few years now, partly due to lack of a shop/garage to build them, but mainly due to lack of the used gsxr parts I used to build them, seems I pretty much used up all the used parts on ebay, and the ones currently available are too much $
no shop, no parts = no brakes :(

Man that sucks I joined this forum just to ask u for them lol I got a 98 blaster came with no rear brakes caliper, can u recommend one? It’s a cable brake caliper the only ones I can find are for a 2003 and newer I really gotta get something on there I’m planning to put the banshee rear axle on there eventually so cheaps best, any info helps I’ve searched endlessly thanks for ur time

It's great condition and is be willing to sell it, it is set up for +4 swinger

I'll just add to Brians post above, if that's one of my setups, or is using the stock gsxr brake line, it could fit up to a 6" swingarm, and is how I built them when I did. just takes a little loop routing of the line and some tyraps to hold it in place.
so if Brians is gsxr or custom line for +4, it'll work on a stock swingarm

full

I'm parting with it because I got it a week ago and I have hydros I don't need it and I'm not 100 percent sure but I think it's one of your set ups awk I got it off a guy, I m pretty sure it will bolt up to banshee because I had it on an o3+ carrier

I'll get pics when I get out to my bikes I got it on a +4 trock swinger and my stock line and brake are fine, if you wanna pm me I'm not sure what I would want for it but everything I sell is plus shipping because I'm a Canadian ;p

my setups only bolt onto the 88-02 cable brake carriers, and may require a few spacers to work with the soildly mounted brake disc on a banshee axle in a pre 03 carrier, versus the floating idsc on the pre 03 axles.

it will not bolt up with 03+ blaster or banshee carriers

Using a term from youtuber ChuckE2009 “Fabricobble”
It’s very easy to “Fabricobble” a brake system. Even I did it
Look at a 03-06 setup. Look at picks of Awk’s setup. I don’t think a Mx/dirt bike would be strong enough, but would still be better than cable junk!
Most street bikes have dual piston calipers, though overkill. Just get the caliper and master from same machine, they’re matched. Warrior and Banshee are same, yfz450 May be different.

Definitely not one of my kits, but it's a start, I don't see a master cylinder mount

also, I changed the name of this thread to "rear brakes"
