My pressure tester clearly showed me I have an intake manifold leak....even with 2 NEW gaskets installed....I understand it's a good idea to apply YAMABOND to help seal the intake. I see there are many kinds of yamabond with different numbers

My question is which # yamabond is best to help seal up the intake
Thank you

I've always used Permatex Ultra Copper on the intake, apply thin coat to both sides of the gasket with a plumbing flux brush, torque bolts to spec (5.8 ft.lbs, equally, in x pattern) allow to cure overnight before testing again.

any yamabond will work too ... 3/4

Yamabond 4. That way if you split cases.that is what is used to reseal them. Intake could be warped alittle. From over tightening.as awk mentioned it's important to tourqe the bolts.they do not go very tight. That os a very common leak area.mostly due to over tightening
