Hey everyone new atv owner here.
Just bought this blaster and was curious about my best options here.
As you can tell middle section 'rust colored' does not fully seat on either side.
There is an exhaust leak where the muffler is pipe clamped on. Needing this fixed asap.

Hello again. Ive got a few more questions now regarding my rigged exhaust.
here is the starting setup again

So now that ive unbolted the silencer and middle pipe. Ive noticed how loose my header is. Since ive got a large portion of the bike apart already i would like to fix this right.

First the bushing here is worn and there is alot of pivot on the mount.

Second, is this bolt part of the kit or more rigging? I see it is missing the spring as well.
*It is very loose here and the bolt does not tighten*

So at the end of the day, i have an FMF header and a rigged dirtbike silencer with the stock intermediate piece along with exhaust leaks. I dont want to spend unnecessary money if not needed.
What is my best approach for a proper leak free exhaust?

- Should i look into a new spring & bushing for the FMF header and purchase a FMF powercore 2 (will everything fit correctly without mod?

- Or would it be better to order a new complete exhaust kit?
(if so whats my best bet for 26mm Mikuni, wiseco top end, boyson reeds, k&n filter, no air lid)

Ideally you would just need a FMF silencer to go with your head pipe, but it looks like someone installed a bolt into the head pipe near the flange.....maybe to plug a hole??? Anyway.....because of this, I would suggest a whole new exhaust and be done with it. Whatever exhaust system you go with, make sure it includes the FLANGE and spring. Many sellers forget to include the flange.

When it's time to install your new system, you must use a BRAND NEW crush washer (OEM is best!) between the flange and head.....AND use some hi-temp orange RTV on the flange to ensure an airtight seal. This combo has provided me with years of reliable performance.
