So about a year ago I bought two blaster and really mainly focused on 1 but now I’m working on the 2nd one and I think some work is done on it but I’m not sure what but I took it out one day to test it and it ran great then I sprayed it with some water and slowly the rpms go away and then eventually it goes to a slow crawl and it feels like it’s starving for gas or air. Any help would be appreciated
Have you done this "test" more than once? How much water? Hose or power washer? Is air filter wet?
Well before that “test” I took it riding and it was good for the first few minutes like it usually is but after it got wet from going through puddles it again felt like it was starving for air or gas. I had it pinned in 1st gear going up a slight hill and it was just barely crawling up it. And it was just a regular hose and the air box lid was on so I don’t think the filter could’ve gotten wet
Remove the Plastic cover at the stator side. I wash my bikes a lot and the one did same as your and just died. By luck I removed that cover to check the stator. The moment I removed the cover water came pooring out. Obviously water in the stator area is not good. Its a 2 minute job and worth to check. If it's dry, at least you can rule that out.

Ive heard about the TORS problem and I think that that sounds like the problem and I’ve seen a few different ways to disconnect it but I can’t get a straight answer so do you go about disconnecting the TORS?Clear as mud

With pre 03-06 it's as simple as unplugging the brain box under the hood, 3wire plug.
My first experience with it was riding in a little drizzle and had to stop three times to dry the throttle out before I got back to the truck. Glad I had tools.
