Wont idle

I have a 2000 blaster that only starts if I give it gas whether the choke is on or not. It also wont idle without holding the throttle a little bit. I've recently replaced the carb, top end and air filter, and completely removed the tors, but it still has those problems, any suggestions?

It didnt say anything about mikuni, the only model I have would be the FMF exhaust. One of the reeds was broke and I replaced it, the other was slightly opened so I flipped it but still had a small gap, so I've got new ones coming today, didnt know if a small gap would keep it from idling
 
Remove float bowl, check float height, jet sizes, main jet will have Mikuni logo on it. A sasqua with a M in it IIRC. Google Mikuni trade mark.

Ok I'll do that when I change out the reeds, I dont have alot of experience with carbs so what should I be looking for as far as float height and jet sizes, I wouldnt know if they were wrong or not
