Bought it a few weekend's ago and it's been rinnrun great. We were over at my buddies riding on some trails and we got back on the road to head back to his house. I was in 4th or 5th gear and it felt like it ran out of gas so I turned the reserve tank on and tried to get it back started and it didn't start. It's been a few days now. I've cleaned the carburator, checked the Reeds, looked at the Piston to see what shape it was in( in great shape) and put a new plug in that has spark but still can't get it to start. It is popped a few times but no start .Any ideas?

Is it possible that the magneto flywheel key has sheared off, so it's not getting consistent spark, or something else wrong with one of the magneto coils? I'd open the cover on the left side of the ATV and confirm that everything is good under the hood there.
This may sound dumb, but also check that you're getting petrol from your reserve tank... My friend's ATV was so caked with crud at the bottom of the fuel tank that when put on reserve no fuel could flow! Probably only an issue if you premix.

If you removed the head you either have to anneal the old head gasket or use a new one. You MUST torque the nuts proply and do heat cycles.
Biggest concern is that it quit first. I would suggest a compression test and a leak down test to start with.
You need three things. Fuel, Air, Fire. Which one is missing?

Ok is plug wet? The passages and especially the Jets have tiny holes. ALL must be open and clear.
Just looking at the piston only tells you there is no mechanical dammage. Look through exhaust port and intake for damage to skirt. You have to remove reeds to inspect any ways. Do a compression test before you remove reeds.

Reeds are fine carb is cleaned I've even tried pouring gas and ether with lubricant and it still will not start so the magento must have spun around
I went ahead and order a flywheel puller and a new woodruff key I got it to fire once but it fired back out of the carb which is telling me it's out of time so it must be something with the flywheel and magneto
