I’m having a weird issue where my blaster will idle high i mean like HIGH HIGH after it gets hot and here’s the kicker it will keep on screaming after the kill switch and key is out for a solid 10 seconds. I’ve looked around and some people are saying air leak but that still doesn’t explain why it still runs without the key. Keep in mind this only happens when it’s hot.

You have an air leak somewhere....

An air leak will make a way too lean a mixture, cause the electrodes of the plug to glow red hot.
You do not need a spark then the red hot plug ignites the mixture....

FYI (for all) if you get a runaway, shift into gear, hold brake, dump clutch. Over speed can blow an engine quickly.
What happens is the plug overheats and allows auto ignition, no spark needed. Think diesel engine.

@Awk08 he's a prominent user on here and super helpful Also makes and sells home brew pressure testers at a much more economical price .

I’m hoping it’s not a bottom end seal really don’t feel like doing all that work

Don't be such a wussy. Very easy job, and crank seals are VERY important .CRANK seals are actually maintenance on machines this old. Get either a Clymer's Repair Manual or find the PDF on this forum. Might also be a DIY in the engine or DIY section
