I know I have been asking a lot of questions on here and I appreciate all the input and information that everyone has been giving me. With that being said in a previous thread I had posted a video showing the play i have between my Hinson clutch basket and the gear behind it.. Does this mean the rubber grommets are worn if so where do i get new ones? or is it just a matter of replacing bolts and torquing everything back together. My ATV is currently in pieces which sucks as the nice weather is finally here and I'd much rather be riding it instead of being in the garage.

You know that the rivets are drilled to make those baskets work then use screws to hold gear on so what I would do it take out inner basket and check/tighten bolts in there and throw some locktite on them too

Ya I know that. I assume the play is from worn out grommets.. I will be removing the screws to inspect grommets, but if they are worn out.. where can I purchase new ones?

I'm not sure to be honest try Yamaha or online I haven't ever bought any I know there in used basket to if you drill one apart lol

I checked online and even the parts fiche at my local Yamaha dealer for the clutch and it doesn't look like the sell the rubber grommets I have an extra clutch basket but that one also has play between basket and gear.

Banshee clutch basket rubber cushions are round.. after opening mine up there are 2 round ones and the other 4-6 are "D" shaped.

yep, same thing I found, are they originally round and beaten into a D shape over time ?
if they both serve the same purpose, to cushion clutch engagement, on very similar baskets between the 2 machines, why would it matter ? and can they be left out completely ?
I have seen others say they have used the banshee ones

Well I figured I'd try the Ebay like AwK08 posted and this was the sellers response..

Well he's an idiot if he thinks blasters don't have cushions.
Reply back to him and tell him all clutches have the cushions in them, on every machine made.

I talked to Ken Oconnor today and he confirmed that he doesn't know where to get blaster cushions either, and that every clutch basket on every machine he's ever worked on has cushions there. And that no they cannot be left out or the torque will rip the basket off of the gear.
He suggested maybe filing or grinding one side flat to fit in those positions on the Blaster, if you use the all-round Banshee ones, and they won't fit in without the flat spot ?

The image above is the spare clutch basket (stock) one I had. I still have to open up the Hinson one that was on the bike. I started and the bolts are a _______ to get off. I drilled the end to removed the flare.. Probably will have to apply some heat. I will let you know what it looks like when i get it apart. Hopefully this weekend. I even contacted Hinson direct and asked if they sold Blaster clutch basket cushions and they don't. I am leaning on getting the round Banshee cushions and seeing how they fit like AwK08 mentioned. This quad has been a headache to say the least. Just want to ride the damn thing. But i want to make sure everything is damn near close to perfect before I do.

Looking at the picture, the round two have little clearance, the D shaped ones have lots from use.
Biggest thing is that they're the same duromiter (hardness)
Sanding drum on Dremel, file, sandpaper to make them fit.
Make sure the screws/rivets are tight.
