I recently purchased a 2002 Blaster. It has Vito’s 240 Kit. Full FMF exhaust. It has a 310 jet in the carb. It also has upgraded reeds but I’m not sure of the brand. The day I bought it, it fired right up no problem. The next day I fired it up rose it no problem. My son went to ride it and on the way back it died. He thought it ran out of gas. Filled it up with 32:1 mix gas. Wouldn’t kick over. Looked at the plug looked ok but changed anyway. Starter fluid right into cylinder still no kick. A few pops and puffs of smoke. Took it outside pulled started it ran fine. I was riding it and it ran great. It stalled but I was able to kick start it. Next day same thing. Will not kick start. Cleaning carbs and putting back together today. Is my jetting to big? Last time I tried to bump start it would get going but as soon as I gave it gas it would bog down and act like it was going to die and that was with the clutch pulled in. I’m lost please help.

a good place to start would be a compression test should be at 120 psi is normal.
and taking out the pilot jet and soaking it in a cup of carb cleaner for like 10min:)
it is easy to tell if it is clogged by holding it up to a light you should be able to see through it.
If you can't see through it is clogged.
it is a very small passage and gets clogged easy
compression testers are like $30 bucks for the cheapest ones should work a few times lol:)

Well there’s your problem

always remember if ur bike wont kickstart but pushstart....it has low compression.....after it gets hot it may kick do to expansion of aluminum...when u push start it spins the motor several times building the compression to run....the kicker only spins the motor a couple times
