So I decided to rebuild the more to freshen it up for next season, got the motor pulled and started tear down, here’s what I found

Engine degreaser with wire brush...toothbrush and a lot of elbow grease . Unless you have access to a parts cleaner to soak them in
No parts cleaner, I was thinking of carb spray or somthing along those lines or go to parts store and see if I can find a gallon jug of somthing kind of solvent to soak in a bucket

Well I’m going thru some website looking up prices for parts list, like crank bearings, and all oil seals and a clutch, and km thinking about pulling the trigger on the Vito’s kit off ebay, the 3mm stroker and big bore kit for 699, but thinking that kit would also Benefit from reeds and a larger carb probably huh?

Well as I’m cleaning the cases I stumble across what appears to be some JB weld. I bet the chain popped off at some point and cracked it.
