Hi all. Just a couple of questions about the bushes and sleeves in the a arms. ASR lowers.

The bushes should be a press fit into the A arm tubes? Mine are, Will not move.

The steel sleeves that go into the bushes should that be a press fit? Mine are, Will not move.

Should there be any sleeve sticking out from the bushes? Mine has, 2.2mm sticking out is the worse one. the other 3 are 0.8mm to 1.5mm.

What you think. Should I be contacting American star about it? or is the bushes wrong size? Or the tubes on the a arms.

About to measure the a arm tubes see if all same lengths. Don't want to get powder coated if they are wrong.

I didnt have any problems with my lower a-arms fitting?
Is it the steel sleeve long, or the bushing to thin, or the tubing on the a-arm not the right size?

Steel sleeve inside bushes is 55mm long.
Steel tube on A arm 48mm long. one of them was 47.5mm
Lip on the bushes 2.5mm thick. This is the part that is not inside the tube and same OD as tube.

So adding the a arm tube length and the length of 2 bushing lips would be. 48mm + 2.5mm + 2.5mm = 53mm. So that's 2mm shorter then the steel sleeve at 55mm.

Will measure the gap on the frame when I pick it up from engineering shop.

I did have the A arms fitted to the frame but without the dust caps. Will have to try it with them and see what happens.
