New toy

Suzuki was no help to identify this engine. :(

Thank you for the images and confirmation of the engine number. Unfortunately our records only go back as far as 1988 and don't include your number. I'm sorry we are unable to help.

Think we may have worked it out as I just seen that the LT250R has not got the temperature sensor in the head like the TS250 has also the LT250R has not got the oil tube going into the side of the intake manifold. From what I can see the LT250R runs no oil pump.

But I cannot find a wire diagram that is the same colours as what I have. mmmmmmm

Inside that thing attached to the carb. The shaft sticking out is spring loaded and the part inside on the left is also spring loaded. Asked granddad and he thinks its some type of air vacuum valve. One hose goes into the engine side of the carb and the other is lower on the carb maybe going into bowl area or into air filter side of carb.

Couldn't see any thing in the parts diagrams online about this part.

Any ideas?

Did a little bit on the kart this weekend. New roll bar and radiator mounted. Bracket made for silencer.

Got new front wheel bearings installed and wheels back on the front also replaced a lot of the mixed types of bolts and nuts on the kart. Greased steering, gear shift, clutch lever. Cleaned up the wires other day but still got no spark.
