ad says its for a 03-06 blaster hydraulic caliper, does it look like it would convert a 88-02 to bolt on 03-06 hydraulic caliper?
I have been searching the net trying to find a schematic for this bracket

or one that will work with the warrior or banshee hydro caliper, this isnt really for me but I was looking to make a cheaper alternative for the blaster community but if this Chinese bracket for $7 is a direct bolt on then its clearly a winner

the gold caliper is from a gszr 1000 streetbike. The bracket used was designed and sold by a member here Awk08. Unfortunately I do not believe he is making them anymore. The black bracket will work IF your carrier is a 2003-2006 ONLY. If you do not have a 03-06 carrier, that bracket WILL NOT WORK.

Some one needs to draw this bracket up in cad to scale. So people can make it. Maybe Awk08 can share some measurements or drawing?

I believe eventually I will be able to make one through trial and error but if someone did have the schematic of one that would make it much easier, I have the older carrier on mine and I have the 03-06 brake caliper so if no one posts one ill give it a shot and post my results......... good or bad lol

There is no schematic. The easiest thing to do is just trial and error. thats what I did.

suprised nobody has taken the time to do this since its one of the most done upgrades after the TORS removal, there is all kinds of info and youtube videos on it as well, maybe that will change

through all my searching yesterday i did find a PDF file on the dimensions of a Brembo caliper if this helps anybody

Hey Hutchracer,

Yeah, I used the left side blaster peg on the right and welded the pivot boss from a Warrior right side pedal to it:

I had to weld some tabs from an old donor frame to the correct position on my blaster frame and supporting tabs for the Banshee rezzi as well:

If you go this route, be sure to tuck the rezzi ALL the way down into the crotch of the frame or you will interfere with the exhaust.

I wish I could give you some finished pics but I'm only just test riding my mods (this weekend?)

here is more what I was looking for

now if this would have had dimensions, most could make it on their own, this gives me something to start with though

a few other companies make a conversion kit but are highly over priced.. I have been playing with many different materials, brands, kits, to come up with an affordable conversion myself but life and my other product designs have been more important. The bracket and foot mount you came up with i very creative and looks like it will work well for you. Good Job!
