I have a used fmf gold series and flange but the flange is not the normal fmf flange it has like another inside wall and the flange fits around pipe not in the hole is this correct ? It has a spring mount and is there anything other then the spring i should put on ? The fmf is only for the mean time as my baffling broke inside and messes with the quad, my question is should i rig this fmf up to stock sliencer and will this flange work or should i just up grade

Here is some photos of mine. Have you got the black rubber mount on your pipe? Yes there is a spring that goes on exhaust pipe to the engine to hold it into the exhaust hole. Also is a circle gasket in there.

You will have a flange on the engine like this photo I found on google. Pipe slips over it spring holds it on.

My flange is differnt i can send pics but it goes around outside it may be from a differnt pipe what do u jet at i juat install v force 4s today and wanna figure out this flange

Does it go inside and outside of the pipe? some brands run that way. If only on the outside, i suggest getting a new one

Pipes are mostly sold in the chrome finish. They hold shine well until beaten up. then the nicks start to show

You can sand, buff and use 2000 degree header paint to make your pipe black

Prob ceramic cost 150 good deal and yes it does go on inside and outside it looks like it should work but is the spring the only thing sealing the pipe to flange or should i ram the flange in with a mallet and attach spring pics to come today i hope of pipe and flange. If it has to walls inside and out what flange is it

Good ol google never fails us i found a few pics of flanges the same style this is what i mean thanks for all the help tho i can also get real pics asap is running stock sliencer bad my dg one i got with pipe brok

Interesting flange. If the pipe fits all you need is the spring to hold it. Exhaust is also bolted at the top of the frame with that black bracket in last photo. Mine was rock solid before i stripped my bike.

there is a gasket that goes in the cylinder, then the pipe slips over the flange then the spring holds the pipe over the flange.
