Hi everyone,
My name is Daniel, I am 34 and have ridden many of the old goodies, Banshee, Warrior, Wolverine, 300-400ex, Predator 500, etc.
Love my quads, my cousin turned me loose on a full track built banshee at 12 years old, 75 lbs soaking wet, and 2 hours later came out on the property to find me jumping it harder than his MY bike, I think that's when the bug really bit me.

Anyhow, I recently picked up a decent 02 blasty for my boys, and have found this forum a great resource, and signed up.

The bike I got is a semi stock blaster with a 95 engine casing on it, has rear hub spacers and MX tires, oiler delete, dg pipe and silencer, air box cover removed and possibly a slightly oversized numara (sp) piston.
Yet it had never been jetted, oil line port on carb was left open, air screw was fully closed, 240 main jet. Talk about a mess ran sloppy rich on bottom and too lean on top to even feel mean.

It is now running 290,300,310 main jets, needle at 2.5 (spaer) clip from the top, and running between 1.5 to 2 turns on pilot depending on weather. Has had the reeds checked and cleaned, silencer repacked, oil chaned, rear brakes pads replaced (locking ring is missing #16 on microfiche), chain link removed, etc. just a general maintenance session.

Runs strong so far, after what all I heard about the DG pipe I am surprised it will pull a 300 main jet and stand up in 3rd, but until the rings go and i pull the jug. I won't really know what's in there.

Anyhow off to make a couple more posts, so I can pm

Sorry forgot to mention, I am from North, Ga
As soon as my tablet charger a little I will add a pic or two of the '02 I picked up a couple weeks ago, first blaster (not my first 2 stroke or sport quad).
I wish I had it all together, if I did I would have the weak spark (after spraying it off), tors delete, and rear brakes squared away. I would probably also know what bore, piston and or work lay hidden in the jug. But it runs pretty good, for what it is I doubt I open the top up until rebuild time. Right now it has enough that the boys come back wide eyed and grinning or needing to wipe
Lol.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome.
As promised here is a few pics of the blaster I picked up "for the kids", lol. They are actually learning pretty quickly, both have rode utility ATVs but this is the first one they have had in the garage.
