Anybody know where the end of this vacuum line connects to ? I can't find any diagrams that clearly shows where it connects.

So. Got the blaster finished. Took it for its first ride to start tuning. Pre plug chop, rediculously rich 250 mj. 120 psi. Leak test good. Fired third kick.

Got 2 blocks away. Started rattling death sounds, lost all power.

Pushed it home, mostly up hill.

Throw the compression gauge on. 45psi!!

Any guesses????

well i myself have a jetta too....or had.

Since we are showing our German loves here is my pride and joy. Was the day I bought her , in the middle of doing repairs/upgrades now but taking some time since parts can get pricey.

Yes that is a Google pic because it has the green line to help show what hose I'm talking about. You want to call me out so bad ? I'll take a pic of the 99 Jetta I'm working on in the morning. Hope you have a large glass of milk to swallow your words.

it's a toss up for which I drink less of.......... milk or your nonsense :)

but since we're on the subject of what we're working on
here's what we'll be installing an electric vacuum booster pump in the next day or so,
the HUGE cam in this 750 hp. 572 BB doesn't produce enuf vacuum to run the brake booster consitently

We also have new Lingenfelter differential gears and axles to install in a 650 hp. Lingenfelter built 427 BB. Vette after the drag slicks grabbed and grenaded the factory axles.

so today we installed a new to us lift :)

Was this a top end rebuild? Take a peak into exhaust port and intake port. Did you break it in properly, proper warm up?

I would love to have an R32 for the AWD. they also made a jetta or passat 4motion but they have regular V6 rather than VR6

I love seeing the conversion builds for the mk4 jetta or golf to get awd
this is cool too http://www.build-threads.com/build-threads/mk1-caddy-24v-v6-4wd-turbo/

what a waste, this guy did the swap and now does this

i have no clue on whole story i just found out yesterday that he even had it
im in the process of researching the bike if he does want my help
he is like 55years old lol

55 has been a minute agoo

This place still doesn't have a chat room ? o_O

LOL

Had to do that many times. I just shack my head at the way some things are made.

My brother was a Chysler tech before going to work at the tech center. He explained how/why vehicals are designed for speed of manufacturing. They could care less about repair time,
