I have just done the Tors delete kit with aftermarket cap and throttle cable with the idle screw in side of carb. I know theres a lot of people that have done this modification. Out of curiosity what did everyone do to tighten the idle screw or get it to stay into place. I've used a screwdriver and wrench to tighten it up, seems like I can't get it to tighten up enough.

Yea if you can find one with a spring they are better. It's hard to get a wrench on the nut with the flat head to tighten it. I found one with a spring, but the boss was too long and the screw was to short. And I didn't feel like filing the boss down.

Ive had zero troubles with mine backing out. I dont just tighten the nut i turn the screw in with the nut at the same time. it raises the idle just a tad bit but helps to make it tighter.
