2000 Blaster without a name.

So I got the frame welded up. Let me tell ya my welding skills have deteriorated a lot. It's done and when I get it cleaned up it will look just fine.

Been awhile since I had time to work on anything that makes me happy. I got quite a bit done this weekend. Frame is welded and cleaned up. I got the frame, stem, a-arms, swinger all painted up. New bearings where needed. I started initial test fitting and mock ups. I will get pics asap.

I think I am going to go Neon Green on the springs. I am thinking Plastidip should handle the movement pretty well. Front and rear fenders will be a satin black, tank cover and hood will be gloss black. (I think)

I need to use a different set of lower A-arms. The PO appears to have banged on the studs a lot. I can't thread a castle nut on them they are totally mangled. luckily I have a couple spare sets.

Pulled the motor out of the parts bike. Leak tested on the bench......again. walked away had a Dos Equis and a smoke.
I don't care who you are, how many motors you've built (Ken O'Conner will probably agree), this puts a smile on your face.

Ok so I am a bit stuck. My fault totally. Didn't pay attention during disassembly. Got the motor mounted. Problem is there is no place for a dust cap on the inner flywheel side. Is there supposed to be one?

Ignore the chain roller. This is a mock up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's suppose to be a dust seal on either side that rides against the cases.

Ordered my sprockets and chain, tensioners, a crap ton of misc parts. Should have this doing heat cycles this weekend while I am painting plastics.

Looks good...After the plasti dip has dried for about a week get some Spray wax at the auto parts store or Walmart and lint free rags and apply . I spray the rag pretty good then wipe on wet . After a few minutes wipe off with another rag . It smooths out the texture of the dip and enhances the color plus adds a bit more protection .

Plasti dip is no durable for the first weekish

It needs time to harden. I had it on my car rims and it held up just fine after a while
