I don"t know???????
Im messing around with making a large intake for a stock 4 bolt blaster intake.

I used 1/4" plat alum and 1 1/2 SCH 40 pipe. The 1 1/2 SCH 40 pipe is about 41mm ID and 48mm OD.

What is the reasoning for that massiveness?

Bronco, how long before you weld a turbo to a flange like that?:eek:

I dont think i have a reason for anything i do?
I just used the pipe i had laying around.
Its the same pipe i used on my CT cylinder for my 35mm amd 38mm carbs. So i decided to see if i can make it fit the stock cylinder.

Find me the right size turbo! lol

This is a 35mm pwk on a intake with the same size pipe for my 6 bolt CT cylinder intake. VVVV

The question i have with the turbo is will it effect how the 2 stroke expansion chamber works, and where on the exhaust side of you bike do you hook the turbo in to? Between the pipe and silencer?

The turbo would mount to the stinger.if you put a silencer on it,it would go off of the hotside discharge.

I know it's an old thread but turbocharging a single cylinder 2-stroke ain't happening, 2 cylinder(or more) 2-strokes can be done.
If an 2-stroke is 'on' the pipe you are already boosting the cylinder by about 110% so if turbocharged it is always on the 'pipe' and some!
Look up some turbo'd Banshee's !

There have been more than one turboed blaster. very low psi, but done. Search for it

Why would a 1 cylinder be different than a 2 or more? 2 pipes, 2 carbs
although, would you only put a turbo on one of the cylinders?
