alba a arms replacement ball joints?

surely Alba wouldn't sale arms they themselves don't have replacement parts for.

When you get the a-arms take the ball joint to your auto parts store and compare it to tie rod ends like the vw bug .. not likely they're special made for Alba .. long ago Phragle posted something here about tie rod ends he used to build a-arms ... you'll already have the little Alba spindle adapter that comes with the a-arms and the ball joint price on e-bay ain't bad

I just installed these on my sons bike a few weeks ago. They do sell replacement ball joints you just have to contact them they are not on the website. Overall I am happy with the a arms but did run into some problems. The upper a arm on the clutch side was machined wrong so alba sent me a replacement. The tie rods that come with the arms are too long I had to cut them down to get the to work. In the length they were shipping they were all the way in and I still needed adjustment thats why I needed to shave them down. Overall for the money it is a decent product and the phone support was really good. They did not give me any problems and were very helpful. Since I did run into the arm being the wrong size it did take some time to have a new one shipped out. This put me like a week behind on the project.

those spacers that come with the alba a arms are junk, members here have had trouble with them breaking. i would suggest getting a set of banshee spindles and call alba for a set of ball joints for the upper arms and that way you can convert to hydraulic front brakes if you don't have them already
