Will 03+ hood and headlight fit 1999 blaster?

hello, i was wondering if a headlight and hood from the newer model blaster will fit my 1999 blaster?
I can buy one for 25 bucks and i would like to install it on my older model, and do i have to make changes to the wiring?

No, it wouldnt be a direct swap. The hood could be added without much difficulty but the headlight uses its own bracket that only the 03-06 use. You can do what I did and cut the mounting bracket off an 03+frame and weld it to the older frame. Imo it is allot of work to just have the newer style hood and light.

all u have to do to make it fit is bend the tab that holds the front lower screw for the 88 -02 hood up and screw the headlight to that and it uses the same color wires then u can put the 03 to 06 hood on with the screws up by the gas tank and 2 zip ties at the lower front part of the hood... looks good and has been used and abused and working for me for years
