So riddle me this:

i live in miami, and it is 56*F outside. I have this blaster, that i got to start. Then it shut off on me un expectedly kinda like it ran out of gas.

It was low on gas, so i refilled it and now it doesn't want to start.

Also i kinda notice now that the kick start actually kicks BACK sometimes.

did i flood the engine or something?

P.S I didnt have the foot rest on when i first started it, and then i put it on, could it be that i am not turning it over enough?

I think i flooded it though for some reason.

Also, 56 degrees may be too cold to start it, wait till it warms up, you and your blasty must be freezing...

Im kidding, i ran my old one in 15 degree before

If it spit back from the lean condition when it ran out of gas, you could have broken a reed or sheared a key in the flywheel.

Flooding usually makes it seem to fire in the exhaust pipe.

Now check the interference fit of the tapers.

If it has spun and marked the flywheel, it may need to be lapped otherwise it may break the new key.
