The banshee carrier is almost 1/2" shorter I believe, so you will need some spacers or something. skoobyj tried and said it was too short for a direct bolt in. I also read something about it not being exactly centered, but it is possible.

you can if you make spacers for it to fit but I do not reccomend it.It's just a mishap waiting to happen in my eyes.

^^^Yes I wouldn't do it the carrier is something you want to be able to really wrench down tight. But whatever you prefer.

ok ill go to the chopshop..

With the hydro conversion it is your best bet. Some one on here did it and liked it but like I said I wouldn't trust it.I have a shee carrier here missing the brake boss(cut it out to use) and when I lokked at using the shee carrier it didn't make any sense in my book.IMO

why cant the blaster hub be used on the shee axle? it wouldnt matter if it could slide thee shee dont slide anyway?

One or the other has to have play. The shee has pads that slide to compensate for pad wear. The cable brake has a hub that slides. I tried to get away with it after awhile you will be only using one pad. It was bending the rotor before i fixed mine to slide.. It works like a vise if both sides dont clamp its not gonna work well. The blaster hub cant be used since the blaster axle has a stop welded on to keep your axle tight. On the banshee axle it uses the hub to tighten down against. Kinda hard to explain but you have to have the hub.

Well that helps for the brake problem so im gunna give it a shot and see wat the turnout is.... Also I was reading about how much u payed for your axle thats not a bad deal.... I traded some air tools for mine..... It diff looks better and handles like a dream.... I love it already...

Getting my banshee axle for $30 from the local atv salvage yard. Should look real nice with my +5+3 offset rear wheels, so ill actually be around 5 1/2" wider than stock rather than the 3 1/2".... f*ckin sweet!! Ecspecially for 30 bucks. Still gotta get a banshee brake hub. Prolly get a nice billet one from ebay or something. Has ne one ever got one from there before?? Just wondering what they are actually like

i have 2 questions about this
i have an '05 so will all i need is the axle everything else is a straight swap?

and if its an extended axle for a banshee will it still fit a blaster as it was made for the banshee

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I know this thread is old, but if I plan on going without rear brakes do I even need to worry about the hub? Can't I just leave it off?
