So I'm finally buying a new clutch kit for my blaster today, I was just wondering what you guys think would be better ? O.E.M. clutch/friction plates or the Tusk HD clutch kit ? I don't care about the money difference, I just want to know which one will perform better and last longer . . . Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions !

i run a tusk in my black bike for the last 2 season, so fo so good.
go with the tusk

Aright cool that's good to hear, I was talking to Mike a.k.a. bummer and he said he's got the Tusk kit in his blaster too and has had good results as well. I just wasn't sure which one would be better, but Tusk it is ! Thanks for the quick response bro.

Ohhh man, I'm blaming you when my fiance yells at me for spending more than I said I was going to ( like always )HAHA ! It's funny you brought the driveline kit up, I was gonna buy that used driveline set up in the for sale section but buying a used clutch didn't sound like the best idea. Scratch the Tusk kit, Driveline it is !

I used a dp clutches brand heavy duty one that has been in since a year before the first Busch beach trip, was still strong till the blaster went bye bye.

Thanks for the recommendation but I already bought the driveline kit ... Should be here between Wednesday and Friday ! I can't wait to get it installed and have my powerband back, my clutch I have now is soo bad when my powerband kicks in the motor just revs like crazy. Maybe ill do a how to on installing new clutch and friction plates with pictures, a video would be wayy to long !
