so i got this little 93' kx 80 in a trade, i traded my built bmx bike for it. and it even has a title I:I i didint think it needed to much work, but when i got home and started tearing into it i started finding many things that needed replacing. list of things i have found it needs so far but dont have money for yet is. new pipe (just gonna get a stock one)
rear brake pads
clutch cable n' lever
chain and sprockets
air filter
kill switch
main jet to compinsate for the aftermarket air filter
chain tensoners

i plan to only fix this then screw around with it for a bit then sell it on craigslist or maybe to a friend if he has the money. ill be buying a 125 or 250 with the help of the funds i make from this thing. heres the day i got it.

im going to do a comp test on it tommorow to see if the engine is good

Add a seat cover to the list. I would never replace a pipe with a stock one. If money is an issue I'd fill that one up with water and freeze it. What do you have to lose? .25 cents in scrap??

if my dad saw a oily old pipe in the freezer he would probally dis-own me, i have about 86 cents to my name, so i cant afford a new 200 dollar pipe. stock will do since im just flipping this thing to sell

tore it down to the frame to pressure wash it and get all the oily crap and built up grime off from years of riding, i dont think i will paint ot though, sand it all down to bare frame seems like alot work and time, plus i have no place to do it

wow that lever looks really nice now...... good thinking with grinding that off, i was wondering if you would come up with something for that thing\

i like the red foot pegs on your desk in the background I:I

got the clutch lever on it and cable, so it has a working clutch now!! cleaned up the swinger and then added some stickers for extra horsepower lol. still needs gas tank cap, pipe, rear brake pads and chain and sprockets, its gettin there though
