Where did the swinger come from?

I am not keen on seeing no gussets where the shock mount meets the arms, that is a point of very high stress.

it come from "the swingarm shop" on ebay. $240 dollars to my door with black powder coat and new bearings. this bike will not be getting jumped any higher than say 4 feet so i will def keep ya'll informed if anything ever breaks, which i highly doubt it will. i ran a very similar built one on my blaster for 3 years jumped and beat the snot outta it and never had a problem. very clean and light weight i dig it! mind you the area your talking about has about 1/4" steel welded fully around

at that price with a with a 1 year warranty I:I im happy

looks like a swingarm shop one from ebay.

yes sir

oh you must have meant the a-arms then? in that case i think they'll be fine. if not i have a welder and mad skillz so for the deal i got on a full set of a-arms with ALL balljoints not those cheezy heims joints i couldnt go wrong.
i thought you meant the swingarm as so many people talk them down. its a great built product really

I was talking about the swing arm, in the pic I was unable to see any reinforcing of the shockmount assembly where it met the arm proper.

I was concerned about the strength in that area, but it is hard to see clearly because of the angle of the pic.

oh well in that case, yes those 2 shock tabs on the swingarm are very thick steel (i think 1/4" or 1/2" thick) welded all the way around that im sure you couldnt break off with a hammer even if you tried to.. I:I

Looks good James. Can't wait to hear how the motor does with scd racing work done to it

thanks Jason! i cant wait to try out that new head.

i found some strange tiny holes in the top of the intake windows, making me think these jugs are ported to hell. so i jb weled them up real nice and im going to leaktest it when i get the motor all buttoned up. i put the custom clutch cover on and filled it up no leaks!

What a sweet machine. I love the shaved fronts, looks really clean.

Im looking for a banshee myself, but around these parts the trailer folk usually get to them first. most feature bent bars, torn seats, and shattered plastics.

Can't wait to hear more on this build!
