Very good, when i completely re-did my laptop, all the drivers were lost.
Now, why can't i download the driver from the samsung website?
I'm a systems and network administrator. So, with that said..
HerpDerp, not sure if you're serious or not but If you can't download the drivers from the manufacturer's website, go into the device manager (right click on My Computer, Properties, Device manager (Hardware tab first if it's XP)) and then right click on the device without drivers installed. It's the one with a yellow exclamation point on it. Click Properties. Go to the details tab. Drop down to the Hardware IDs. Post what you find there. You're looking for VEN_****&DEV_####& or something of the like. You can google that and see what you find.
Now what's the original poster's problem?

Well spill the beans just in case I have problems with the one I may just want to buy.
i was putting a desktop graphics card on my laptop so i can play games from my laptop to the external gpu to my monitor. way over complicated then most if not all people should be doing.
