Stock pipes work rather well. Its the stock silencer that inhibits the performance.

Didn't cost anything found a lot of sand paper laying around and went to hand sanding the sh*t out of it only took 3 hrs... and thnx every one hope ive gave a great idea

Chrome and bare metal aren't the same thing. You can finish aluminum this way and keep it polished to retain the shine, but I think you'll find that steel (the material your pipe is made of) will rust as fast as you can oil or sand it. If you're on a budget just find some VHT paint in a metallic you like, at ~$10 a can it is a great compromise between looks, cost, and durability for engines and exhausts. They also have a clear coat that is good to 2000 F (Flame Proof line #sp115)VHT
