We have very similar tastes man. I have an 86 im rebuilding. Love your blaster, cant wait to see the R when its done.

Just bought a lonestar axle, bearing carrier and antifade brake hub. I'll post up picks when they get here!

Well yesterday I recieved my lonestar axle, bearing carrier and antifade brake hub. Got them put on and also mounted my homemade lowering kit on it.

I've still got some work to do on the gas tank tho. Someone decided to paint it white so I started lightly sanding it to get it back to the original red

Not sure how this one got past me! Wow that thing is pretty wooped up! I'm sure it will look sick when done!

I am so jealous of your work space!

I've been talking to a guy on another forum and I'm waiting to hear back from him. He has a lonestar frame that he's thinking about selling since he doesn't race. After I stripped this stock frame I noticed that its been repaired in 6 different places!

you should have installed a guesset kit before you painted. as you stated it has 6 repairs. the youngest R is well into its 20's. these frames tend to rust from the inside out. add the fact of being built out of square tube and we have a recipe for failure. your frame is bound to crack sooner or later. guessets help prevent it. just some advise from an old blaster owner and a fellow TRX250R owner 3 times over.

your R looks great. good job. glad to see a sitter turn into a runner.

nice blaster too:)

how the hell do you get one of the most desirable quads in the world for 100 bux? lol looks to be coming along well. So did you get the lonestar frame? you will probably need it i know this thing will have ton's of power. That banshee won't be pulling on you at the next 180deg drag's with you on the R

i think it wud be more cool if you just made it into a trail quad

The lowering kit that I made for it bolts on in about 30 min so most of the time I won't have it on and it'll be more of a trail/mx quad. It still uses standard trx shocks. I just want to take something to the drags that has a lil more power and the only other thing that I can do to the blaster would be to switch it to alcohol and I really don't want to do that at this point.
