adding a clutch disc?

i recently replaced the clutch in my blaster because it had been slipping baddly. After putting the new plates and springs in the bike ran great for a few rides but shortly after started noticing clutch slipp at peek rpm. motor is tuned up nice.
i hurd u can just add a plate or 2 in and it will help tense up the springs. which kinda plate should i add a steel or fiber and where in the order of plates would be best for it to go? anyone do this before?

if you adjust the clutch properly after installation you shouldnt have to modify anything.

if you look closly at the attached pics you can see an arrow cast into the case during the manufacturing process, that arrow must be aligned with the clutch lever in order to properly adjust.

once that is done youll set the jam nut on the pressure plate. (gently, these adjustments should be made with minimal force. mostly because theyre delicate and are easily f'd up.)

this is a to man job however, a giant ziptie can be used if your alone in the garageI:I

to answer your question, yes you can however; i would advise against it.

the smaller clutch plate and wave disc were installed in these bikes for beginners, what these were intended for....entry level riders
it allows the clutch to engage easier, or sumthin like that, and definately be replaced with a full size plate, unless your still an entry level rider
but thats not the problem here, clutch actuator rod adjustment like mentioned above

align the pointer and notch on the case, loosen the jamb nut, turn the rod in gently till you feel it touch, back off a 1/2 turn, add loc-tite to the threads and jamb the nut tight
(the cable is not the clutch adjuster, it is a cable slack adjustment)

i replaced my crank seals and had both baskets off and all the disks and i didnt do that. Well it doesnt slip so i must of got blessed cause i and touching it its hooking just fine.

you have to actually press the gas completely for it to slip,
that 1/2 throttle riding you do wont do it
baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahaaaa
 
right on i thought the wave washer and different shaped fiber plate where there too let pressure off the plates after leting go of the clutch, if this isent needed ill make that swap im 21 now and am able to make up for it :p
