RPM gauge

Not trying to be a dick, but jackass responses like this are why our search feature isn't that great.

If some new person comes on here and searches "RPM Gauge" they are gonna see this thread, and see your response saying let me google that and it comes up with trail tech vapor 8-| If they are asking about RPM gauges on here they most likely do not have a clue what a TT Vapor is.

It would have been much simpler to be like "One option you can use is to get a Trail Tech Vapor, www.trailtech.net" and that way the search will actually have useful information...

to the OP, you can also use a KOSO Universal Tachometer, they are programmable for 2 or 4 stroke and single or multiple cylinder. Each one is hooked up differently, either by tapping into the Pulser Coil wire, the Coil Output wire, or by wrapping a lead around the spark plug wire.

Either the KOSO or the Trail Tech Vapor will do fine.

what about a shift light? i could care less about a tach but when i need to shift it would be cool to have a light. thinking this would be cheaper as well, guess i would have to make one myself..
