any body into car audio?

my old eldorado had a complete DUAL audio system it was boss... but my new cts has a factory bose sound system with 8 speakers and is amazing

love car audio. but im more of an entry level fan right now. I have 2 kicker ds 6.5s and 2 kicker ds 6x9s. those are on a kicker full channel amp. I also have a kicker cvr 12 on a kicker 750 watt monoblock. Headin up this setup is an alpine head unit.

nice man start out small and work out big if you have any questions on your setup you can pm if you ever need help....I started out with 2 12in kicker comps in a sealed box, then 2 12in mtx squares, then 4 mtx 12 sqaures on 2500rms, 1 18in audio, and now 2......hopefully 4 18's soon

i have a clarion vrx755vd head unit, and a pair of alpine type s` in my doors. i used to have alot better in my s10, but i am slowly working my way back up. i want to go with 4 8s behind my seats soon.

I wouldnt say im into car audio but i do have a system in my lexus... the stock speakers are nakamichi audio, and i have a single alpine type r and a mono block alpine amp that matches it.... i also have two 7or 8" LCDs in each headset, with a sony 10disc dvd changer in the trunk.... but i think the best thing is the $50 sirius satellite radio... i used it all day long when i drive... i also have it wired for a game port (wii mostly) and an iphone dock... so i can get my iphone videos on the rear monitors, stream youtube etc to them... the only downfall is you cant control the phone inless its in your hand.. its still good for the kid tho... she loves the long road trips now...

in my car i have 15" elemental d sub in a sealed box with crunch ground pounder amp. mids and highs are mb quarts

my blazer runs inifnity kappa's front and rear. hifonics amp

headunits are alpines.

knukonceptz wiring in all.

I use the Audiopipe TXXBC subs and zapco door speakers. Loud and still clean. I work at a stereo shop so i deal with this stuff all day. For the money audiopipe subs and amps are the way to go.

in a way yes and no the audiopipe 3000d amp is a nice amp for the money

those brands are great. Great for everyday sound quality and maybe even some slight competion work. But for the serious audio enthusiast, there are much better products. A personal favorite of mine is Focal. They have great products if your willing to pay. Dont waste your time with Focal's cheap line. Go big or go home.

ultimate electronics was going out of business near me and had a sh*t load of focal stuff 30 percent off. i went a week later and every single one was gone. i wanted to get some door speakers but couldnt justify paying 400 bucks at this point in time.
