All those quads listed have hydraulic brakes, always have. The blaster was the only sport quad yamaha used cable brakes for, and that was because they were trying to keep it as low-budget as possible.
I'd rule out the raptor 350 if you want to actually upgrade. The suspension may be a hair better, and it is a bigger machine so it's more comfortable, but the power is no better than the blaster either.
If you ride a lot of trails, i'd put the banshee out of the question. They're not happy unless they're running wide open, they get real tempermental with slower riding.
If it's a 2001 raptor 660, be aware that there were a handful of problems with them since it was the first production year. The biggest one, the only one to really be concerned about, was transmission problems. They had some weak spots, 2nd gear was especially prone to blowing apart. Normall when the transmission goes out in them they get replaced with a 2002 or newer transmission to prevent it from happening again, and in that case it would be a solid machine.
Ds650... i'd try to stay away from this one as well if you like trail riding. If you ever rode one of these things you'd know that they definitely weren't designed with trail riding as their first priority. They're very wide and bulky, and the turning radius is pretty wide so you'd find yourself doing a lot of 3-point turns where most quads would just whip right around with no problem.
I'd put some serious consideration into something like a z400/kfx400. This sounds like a better machine for you. They a good bit more power and torque than the blasty, they have good suspension and ergonomics for trail riding, they're liquid cooled so they low-speed riding doesn't bother them, they're generally reliable (some of the earlier models had some factory recalls). You can usually find these for pretty cheap, like under $3,000 for one a couple years old.
That's just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.
