What kind of throttle do you have?

I can't stand twist throttle on quads. It's fine on bikes, but you're not turning the bars nearly as sharp as you do on quads, at least in the trails. The first time I rode a quad with a twist throttle in the trails it resulted in a 440ex doing a 2nd gear wheelie over a berm into a tree, and me buying the owner a new bumper... that kinda turned me away from them lol.
there so much better once you get used to them. its just more fun. i have no trouble with throttle control with corners and sharp stuff.
i vote thumb , my buddy with a banshee race's his with a twist , he doe's a great job too considering he race's all 4 choke's , but i race a ltz 400 with a thumb and would never have a twist on a race quad , possibly on my future stunt blaster im building in my sig
i use a twist throttle for all my quads because i started on bikes and i never really could get used to the thumb throttle
The issue for me with twist, is that when you turn the handlebars sharp the natural movement is for your wrists to twist and I can't keep steady throttle when doing it. I never had a problem with thumb so i'll stick with that.

I just don't understand the concept of twist throttle. Whenever I think of twist throttle I just imagine a time comes where you need to hold on to her for dear life and you pull the throttle back as your holding onto it..if that makes any sense..maybe i'm just smoking crack.

i completely understand where ur comin from cmattox my first encounter with a twist on a quad resulted with me in a ditch with the every pound of the polaris scrambler...500 i think it was on top of me...yea wasnt pretty so ive stayed away from them ever since lol

cat stand twist throttles, thats why i ride quads, i cant land a dirtbike or quad with a twist throttle wothout pinning thwe gas and the bike flying out from under me or landing on top of me, its happened multiple times, i need two solid grips
I've been looking into buying a twist throttle for my Blaster. Im looking into the Streamline kit because it comes with a stainless steel braided line. Are there any companies you suggest over others?

ah i gotta go with the thumb throttle no offense to any of the twist guys i just grew up riding a thumb throttle and i can't see myself ever switching, and plus how else are you suppose to give your thumb a good workout haha
that one is good, i use the ProGrip twist throttle on my blasters and that one (streamline) on my banshee they are both nice.. its just a matter of what you prefer... or what your wallet prefers...
Is there any place that sells stainless steel braided cables for the clutch and brake for Blasters? If so i'll definetely go buy em' right now.
