I just want to say that I saw a thread on here about 5 months ago...saying that your more than likely going to burn up your clutch with a yz85/cr85/rm85 engine....

I have proof that's not true... there are three blasters out here where we race
(hawkeye downs IA) with 85's in them..
and there are 2 YFZ450s out here with 85 engines in them...I:II:I

and the kids that ride them are big....

So... what would be the purpose of putting a smaller, weaker engine in a machine? I'm not getting the point of this at all. It's like buying a car with a v8, and then tearing that out and putting a lawnmower engine in it... 85's are slow enough in a little dirtbike frame, i don't see how they could even be close to enough power in a quad frame.

they but the 85 engines in so they can ride in the 90open class....and they are actually pritty fast.....

but I get your point...you think they would just buy a blaster and race in the quad jr. class....lol

yz85 are fast as hell in a dirtbike frame.. and if you put them in a blaster frame it will be a little slower but not that much... and you will kill in the 90 class with that thing

you would be surprised with the power to weight ratio with that combo , i rode a blasty with a cr 85 MOD motor on it , and it think i would almost keep up with a slightly modded blaster 200 !!!

yeah that would be kinda cool to try if u had a spare motor and all the stuff u need with the motor , but i couldn't see going out and buy a motor lol ...

dude...a blaster engine is bigger but it is damn sure NOT faster then a cr85/rm85/yz85..I can see the YFZ450 but def. not a blaster so you're upgrading when you put a 85 engine in a blaster. stock to stock i mean, u would think that more weight on the blaster slows it down a little
