I just signed up on BHQ , same username as BF . I think my 1st mod might be the maier conversion plastics for it . What length swingarm is popular? like my blasty has a +4 , what is typical for the banshee?

thats a nice shee you go there bro id love to have one but all i ride is trails and i heard banshees suck on trails love them none the less

I personally think depending on the trail, anything with no reverse sucks lol.

nice shee... after market grab bar I think that is to if you wanna add it to the list :D been thinkin bout getting that one for my raptor :D in polished or chrome just for the hell of it lol forget who makes it tho... definitely worth the $2gs :) so long it runs good/decent I don't ever see shees go for 2gs in good running condition, 2500 is usually the asking price. and paddles are usually more than knobbies I believe...

nice man, it looks like you got a pretty good deal. that quad is sweet. are those stock rear plastics? i havent payed that much attention to a banshee before, but i didnt think that the stock fenders would stick out like that behind the seat

been trying to sell the extra banshee for $1700, runs and looks good. they go for around that price all the time.

but you dont need reverse if you know how to ride.

also about the popular lenght all depends on your mods and set up. personally a lot of trail riders stay with the stock or maybe go +2 if they have some good mods. i am keeping my stock one for trails. but most will get the round carrier style because the stock carrier sucks.

normal trail mods enjoy +4 timing, milled/cut head, pipes, reeds and filter. a trail port and bigger carbs will make that a different machine for sure.

I dont care what he is they sell between 900-1,500 all the time here. If i dont get that one i will look at this one.

Yamaha Banshee Very Nice Barely Used

Let alone the twin cities where they sell even cheaper.

Average price i see them is 1,200 though.

Personally I ride a stock length swinger and I trail ride the crap out of mine. I have never really had a problem climbing any hill with a stock swinger.

suprisingly for banshee most people put on a -1 or -2 swinger. i guess for more traction. i know i have a hard time gettin traction on mine on anywhere but pavement.

alos what kind of fmf pipe is that. it looks more curvy than mine and mines a fatty.

ya, like i said, depends on type of riding, the rider and the mods.
once i get done with my setup, i am going with a +2 and more power.

Yeah if I ever have a shee it will have a -1 swinger for sure maybe even a -2, short wheelbase+power+traction = fun.

wow i didnt know you could take off of a swing arm lol genius

People shorten the swinger and get a arms moved forward to equal out the weight of the quad. They are front heavy. I liked riding my banshee on trails.

The one in this thread that he bought looks like a really good bike,I:I
