Bottom end question

no its not i already looked and it was not it. what i dont understand is that is out of the 2006. i took my 2004 bottom end apart and it doesnt have that part. but when i put the cases and everything on it binds up and nothing will turn. you take the clutch cover off and everything works again. i dont get it and frankly its pissing me off, ya know. i almost threw it away the other day i was so frustrated with it. i have till the end of the week to figure it out and put it back to gether is the problem im facing.
 
ok that is were the washer goes but i found that i dont even have the flywheel on when it locks up. after putting the clutch together, inserting the kick starter gear, i put the clutch cover on. well the bolt that goes right under the front right head bolt is the one causing the crank to lock. what is wrong do i have the wrong bolt length. i tried two differnt lingths and still the same. i dont understand
 
dude get some pics posted this is a bit confusing. the case bolt is causing it to lock up? i'm just not quite sure what is happening. i read the whole tread still confused. at least you figured out where to put the washer.
 
well i found out its not the bolt but it is when the bolt is tightened you can hear the basket scrapping the cover i just dont know were
ill try and get some pics up. what would you like to see them of to help solve this
 
the clutch basket is scraping the cover? sounds like your clutch isn't in right if that is the case. do you have a manual so that you can see how it goes together
