Ye my chinese piston sucks lol need forged

:(Bad bad bad bad terrible heart breaking news........ :(:(:(

I took it to a friends party tonight to show it to a couple budies and let the ride it....... Something inside told me not to.. but I did anyways... I unloaded it out the back of the truck and took off. I was stroling, boost was like 7-8 pounds RPMs screaming... all of a sudden I lost big time power. It was soooo noticeable. I was in 6th gear and it felt like i just let off the throttle... but I didn't...... I was like ohhh great. Piston is gone.. I'm a jackass... But it didn't shut off or anything and it still ran pretty good, just down on power on the top in. Then i look and I didn't have my oil pump switched on............... I flipped it on hoping it would get better... Nope........ wouldn't make but like 1 maybe 2 psi and was sluggish... Took the turbo off......... looked in the exhaust side....... all the fins are bent... Yep... bearings got toasted and the wheel hit the housing.... housing seems fine, Ill just pollish it back... the wheel is completely destroyed and the bearings are 100 percent gone.. the shaft has a HUGE amount of play. So I went home and got my stock stuff and put it back together to ride the rest of the day. Feels like a turtle now :(
But yeah.. untill I find someone to rebuild this turbo the turbo blaster is DEAD.

Sad sad day for me. All of the time money and sweet I have put in this thing and it dies because I am so stupid I dont switch the pump on... Its gonna be wired into the kill switch next time. I am so mad atm...... :(:(:(

it will be back soon dont worry ..that turbo cant be more than a complete blaster topend

Well... after contacting people trying to get someone to rebuild it.. No one wants to mess with it it seems like. Everyone just telling me to get a new one, don't know if it is shops wanting me to buy a turbo from them or what. I just find it hard to believe that it cost 350-400 dollars to put bearings and turbine wheel on a little turbo that cost 350-400 dollars! WTF.

Moving on, just bought a used TD-025M (same as I had) but internally wasted (I:I) for 122 shipped (I:I) off ebay. Said no shaft play in and out or side to side. The guys feedback score was like 2300 something 100% positive. So why not. I have also come to the conclusion that I probably need a heftier oil pump, as this little fuel pump operates at very low pressure as to keep from pushing fuel past the needle on a carb. Now I am on the hunt for a decent electric pump and since this turbo is gated, that saves some money. Can get a cheap manual boost controller for turning up the boost.

The Turboblaster will live again!!! B)

not sure how this would work but i have read in the past of people using turbos from older 80's dodge caravans and other small gas dodge models on atv applications

Seems like something like that would be too large for a 200cc. I dunno much about turbos though so who knows.
