Anyone Hare scramble a blaster?

I was thinking of entering a hare scramble and would like to get other people perspective of it? Have you raced the blaster in a scramble? How poorly would I do racing against the 4 strokes? From my understanding the AMA scrambles different classes are based on age not cc's am i correct? Any other info helps, thank you.

I have known a few people who run Blasters in HS races.. Its not all about the power, but having a good suspension setup would make the difference ! You are essentially doing some fast woods riding, and the size, weights, and "tossability" of the Blaster would make it a pretty decent option..

We are racing 2 Blasters this year. 1 in "c" class, and 1 in youth class which has a 200cc (2 stroke) limit in it so the Blaster is perfect for that class.

What class are you thinking about running?

i feel too old and big to be racing a blaster, what do you guys think

dont let anybody tell you that your too big or old for a blaster, besides there are a lot of us here that are older than you, and i for one weigh about 220 so i think your good there too

21 5'9 140lbs soaking wet. I have alot of mods im waiting to find a decent price for nerfbars before i race, but I plan on doing hare scrambles

yea i think it would be good just get good shocks (elka is u got the $) and good tires....and decent power...and someone correct me if im wrong i would imagine a longer swing arm and wider

im 6'1 and almost 275lb and after being widened 3 inches and stretched 4 inches my blaster doesnt feel small at all.

for HS you dont wanna widen to much... at least around here....there are trees where my blaster barely fit through at 46 inches

19 years old tommorow and 6'4 145 lbs feels a tiny bit small but not for long(extended swinger + a arms + stem)
