There is a nut on the other side but for some reason I want to say it is welded to the peg. Does anyone know this or can i attempt to take off the nut?

Thanks, I'll see if I can get a reverse drill bit. If it messes up the thread, I'll just put a new bolt and nut through it to hold it rather than tapping for now. I'm trying to get the assembly off so I can install Awk's hydro brakes. Warren

I think I'll have to paint mine. They are white right now on my 2002 Blaster. I may go with silver. But the blue looks good and would match. I don't have a sand blaster but I have two boys that love to sand!! They will catch on one day!! :) Warren
