    2001 Blaster build project

Looks like you are off to a great start. I would highly recommend a leak down test. As far as jetting, I would get 300, 290,280,270 jets, where you live you will probably be in the 280-290 range but you never know. KFX400 front shocks will not fit, the rear will fit with KOR bushings and...

    Engine mod help!

Slydog, you know your way around these engines! As far as the +3, +4, +6 crank, does one excel over others for the posters riding style or is each step up just add more power across the entire rpm range? Stock ported cylinder / head and +3 crank sounds like it would be fun and reliable!

    First ever atv

I have full FMF and airbox lid removed with a UNI air filter, I'm currently running a 290 jet, stock is 230 so you are probably running pretty lean.

Sweet! Looks to be in really good shape, what year is it? Did you see what jetting was in the carb when you had it apart? Many don't rejet after putting aftermarket pipe on, makes a big difference. I would recommend some new front tires before you do to much riding, those look to be the...

    Thirty year blaster rebuild

No no need, other than some seals and oil delete, motor wasn’t touched, about the only good thing that was on this quad.

    Thirty year blaster rebuild

Still waiting on the front fenders and streamline brake lines for the front hydraulic brakes. Put it all back together fully expecting that there would issues getting it running, started second kick. Five minutes of carb adjustment and running great! I spent an hour with my son practicing...

    Kx125 complete rebuild

I think mine is a 2002, been a fun and reliable bike, great for riding around the farm except I seem to rarely get to really let it stretch it's legs. Some people replace the front suspension for newer designs but it's never bothered me for they type of riding I do. Yours is looking good, I...
