  • Good idea.I thought of trying that In the vise.. Ima see if it leaks to begin with. I wanna fix this asap tho.
ebensburgh yamaha split my cases, installed a new crank and all my other new parts and put my motor back together for me for $110, but i did my sons kawi lakota and just cranked them pretty tight, just get a feel for what the 18 - 20 ft lbs it takes and go for it, use the torque wrench in the vise?? a bunch of times and feel how much hand pressure it takes to get it to click, then right away jump to the bike and apply the same pressure???, spray some soapy water on it and kick it a few times if it's leaking you'll see bubbles???
sorry for the late reply bro....sounds like u are mabe missing the bottom roller, but our case savers will prevent the chain from rubbing on the shft shaft.......u have to cut a small block off the back of the stock cover so the case saver will fit
