  • it could have just had bad gas in it....but im glad its workin for ya. wish i could say the same for mine. im waiting on a time sert kit to repair my stripped drainplug
    if its older than 03 you can simply try unplugging the connection that comes off the carb top unit. the throttle override system is known to give a lot of trouble, kinda like whats happening to you. also if the parking brake is engaged on these bikes they will rev perfect but wont run for sh*t if you try to drive em.
    you have been through the carb right?
    could be a float stuck or set too high. did the problem happen all at once?
    basically what happens with the oil injection that everybody doesnt like is that the plastic gear can fail and you wont have any warning before your engine is starved of oil and kablammo! so most everybody has switched to mixing their own oil/gas
    if you take the two lines that come out of the right side cover, block them off or run them in a loop.
    drain all the trans fluid out of the engine and retighten the plug. careful they strip easy!!!
    remove the right side cover, i recomend a handheld impact driver for the screws, they strip too. inside the cover you will see a white plastic gear. remove only what is needed to remove the gear and leave the rest alone. make sure nothing is gonna come apart before you reinstall.
    put the cover back on and fill the trans back up with 650 ml
    okay to properly get rid of the oil injection you would need to buy a kit but i did mine for way cheaper. you dont want to run it at all with the oil injection still going without any oil in it.
    so you did a compression test on it?
    if you do a leakdown test through the spark plug hole it doesnt get past the rings.

    i think you may be burning trans fluid. if so it would mean you have a bad seal on either side of the crank. is it pouring white smoke or just the typical amount of smoke but its white.??
    what kind of aftermarket parts.mods are you currently running?
    and when you say you did a leakdown test on the crankcase do you mean you went through the intake with a tester?
