    I’ll have to look into maybe finding one of your kits or study it and make something similar. I want to avoid welding onto the frame. Would rather bolt on something on the event i ever want to return it to factory. I’m not the best welder and don’t want to butcher my otherwise pristine frame.

    Identifying genuine Mikuni jets

    I did enough googling and finally found that these are NOT genuine Mikuni jets. The “RD” marked jets are manufactured by EBC brakes. Weird. Supposedly these are just as good as the real deal but I’m still skeptical.

    Jetting stock pipe, airbox lid removed

    I may look into a pipe that will mate up to the stock silencer. Will I gain anything by ditching the airbox lid with the stock pipe? If not I’ll just keep it...I assumed it chokes up even an otherwise factory setup. Maybe not?

    These jets most definitely do not have any other markings. I didn’t give it too much thought because I assumed a dealer would only stock the real thing. I’ve googled it every which way I can think of and can’t really find anything definitive. However I’m leaning toward these being fake.

The guy at the parts counter assured me these are genuine Mikuni jets, but I’m concerned that there are no Mikuni markings...

    I found a pivotworks kit on Ricky mountain that says it replaces the bushings with needle bearings. Anyone have any experience with this?
