Giggity. We have two molds that we use for testing. The "buttons" are about .250" in thickness, and about .450-.500 in diameter. The other one is about four times that size.

OUCH! So it may be the angle, but why does your spark plug have zero gap? Also, drain your transmission oil. See if there are any metal chunks floating around. If so, split your case. If not, I'd try to wash out that crank with some oil and the drain plug off to hopefully try and clear whatever...

There shouldn't be rubber in a clutch...do you mean the fiber spacers?
