welded clutch rod/ball - seeking advice

I got the rod out. It is welded. I'm aware you don't have to take the adjustment nut off to pull the pressure plate, but I took the bolts with springs out, and it wouldn't come out. Here is what I did. I took the basket off to change the crank seal. I put the nut on the clutch shaft flush, found...

welded clutch rod/ball - seeking advice

I am in the process of replacing crank seals on my cousins blaster. When I got to the cluch side, I took off the pressure plate. The rod will turn, but not come out. I'm assume the rod/ball is welded. How have others removed these without splitting the cases?

    stock swingarm bearing order?

I know this has been asked several times, and I have searched, but I only want to do this once. I have changed the bearings, plastic bushings, and seals in the swing arm. They are in exactly as the old ones were. I have the dust caps with shims, washers, and seals there also. My main concern is...

    Blaster won't start

I would say pull the flywheel and look at the key on the crank to make sure thats ok, and look at the flywheel very close where it slides on the crank. I had a similar issue where my flywheel was cracked (due to overtightening with an impact) throwing the timing off. Would start after about 20...

new clutch cable. should it be loose?

I swapped out my clutch, greased the rods and ball bearing, adjusted like it should be while holding aligned with mark on the case. Then I put on a new motion pro clutch cable that I picked up. The cable was loose and I had to turn the adjuster on the perch just about half out to take up the...
