you have to unlpug the wires from the switch to disable the parking brake or follow the wires to under the hood and disconnect the plug under there. you can disconnect the TORS without a kit, it's the elctronics and switches that cause problems, not the block on top of the carburetor. the kits only replace that block with a standard carb cap and cable. to disconnect the TORs system on any 03+ ....... http://www.blasterforum.com/do-yourself-20/03-06-tors-removal-diy-41973/
