I talked about this in a previous post about that I have a 2008 yfz frame I'm looking to put a yz250 engine in it, but I came across a cr85 engine on Craigslist and see a raptor 250 frame on eBay would those 2 be a good match up or will the little 85 engine not have enough torq to move a quad...

Okay cool so what year yz engine would you guys recommend newest as possible, because I'm gonna probley send this engine to Kennedy and get it ported and polished and a few other odds and ends......I'm kinda looking for a 250r type quad

Anyone else have advice that yz250 swap in that other thread is something close to what I would do could I still get big bores and all for older yz engines?

Hey whatsup so I have a 2008 yfz 450 frame laying around and I though of a cool idea of putting a yz250 engine in it now I know I would need to mod motor mounts and the exhaust possibly but I'm really worried about it fitting into the swingarm and all that anyone with experience in swaps please...

nice man start out small and work out big if you have any questions on your setup you can pm if you ever need help....I started out with 2 12in kicker comps in a sealed box, then 2 12in mtx squares, then 4 mtx 12 sqaures on 2500rms, 1 18in audio, and now 2......hopefully 4 18's soon
